Cystidiodontia Hjortstam 1983, in Gorjón, Studies in Fungi 5(1), 188 -189 (2020).
Diagnosis: Basidiome resupinate, closely adnate, crustaceous, hymenophore grandinioid, odontioid or hydnoid. Hyphal system dimitic, skeletal hyphae dextrinoid or strongly dextrinoid, without clamps, subhymenial hyphae thin-walled or with slight wall thickening, with clamps. Gloeocystidia as a rule numerous, with yellowish contents, SA–. Dendrohyphidia in the hymenial layer lacking or present.
