Anamika

Etymology: Anamika (Sanskrit), nameless lass.

Diagnosis: Basidiomata with collyboid or naucorioid habit, pileus conico-convex or convex, smooth, glabrous. Lamellae adnate, pale orange, greyish orange or brown. Stipe concinnous, almost equal or enlarged towards both ends. Spore deposit brown. Basidiospores sublimoniform to amygdaliform, thick-walled, with a conspicuous callus but without germ-pore, with cavernous type of epitunica ornamentation. Basidia 4-spored, rarely 2- spored, clavate with a median constriction. Cheilo and pleurocystidia present, versiform: clavate, pedicellate clavate, uteriform or fusoid, frequently with a subcapitate, mucronate or rostrate apex. Caulocystidia occurring either in small clusters or scattered, versiform, similar to cheilocystidia. Hymenophoral trama regular. Pileipellis and epicutis consisting of thin-walled cylindrical hyphae. Hypocutis distinct, subcellular, composed of swollen, encrusted hyphae. Clamp connections present.
