Paramarasmius

Paramarasmius Antonín & Kolařík 2022, in Antonin et al., Plant Biosystems-An International Journal Dealing with all Aspects of Plant Biology, 157(2), 286-293 (2022).

Etymology: It refers to the phylogenetic relationship of this group with Marasmius s.str.

Diagnosis: The genus Paramarasmius differs from Marasmius by the absence of a hymeniderm pileipellis, and from Crinipellis, Moniliophothora and Chaetocalathus by the absence of typical setiform dextrinoid hairs in pileipellis.
