Etymology: Guyana; gaster = stomach (Greek), referring to the country of origin and sequestrate basidiomata.

Basidiomata globosa usque ovata vel irregulariter lobata, 2252 × 1134 mm, nigra, verrucosa; stipes concolor, laevis, 710 × 46 mm, ad radices lignosae affixus; gleba roseopallida usque lateritia, loculis gelatinosis; columella continua cum stipite, roseopallida usque rubroaurantia; basidiosporae globosae, echinulatae, pedicellatae, avellinae, dextrinoidea, 15.518.5 × 15.618.8 µm.
