Punctulariopsis

Punctulariopsis Ghob.-Nejh. 2010, in Gorjón, Studies in Fungi 5(1), 264 (2020).

            Diagnosis: Basidiome resupinate, closely adnate, subgelatinous when wet, corneous when dry. Hymenial surface smooth, reddish-ochraceous, velutinous to pruinose under the lens. Hyphal system monomitic, all hyphae with clamps, hyphae hyaline and thin-walled in the subhymenium, yellowish brown and thickened in the subiculum. Cystidia absent. Dendrohyphidia hyaline, smooth or irregularly encrusted, sparsely branched. Basidia elongate, large clavate, flexuous, with four sterigmata and a basal clamp. Basidiospores broadly ellipsoid, smooth, with granular contents, moderately thick-walled, IKI–, CB–.
