Camptobasidium

Camptobasidium Marvanová & Suberkr. 1990, in Marvanová & Suberkropp, Mycologia, 82(2), 208-217 (1990)

Etymology: Camptos (Gr.) referring to the bent or curved basidia.

Diagnosis: Hyphae hyaline, branched, thin-walled, septate, clamped. Sporogenous structures hyaline, thin-walled. Hyphal segments binucleate, simple- septate. Chlamydospores present on hyphae. Basidia scattered singly on hyphae, apical, curved, typically four-celled when mature; basidiospores lateral and apical, sessile, aggregated, tardily separating, drop-shaped to clavate.
