Niveoporofomes

Niveoporofomes B.K. Cui, M.L. Han & Y.C. Dai 2016, in Liu et al., Mycosphere 14(1): 1642 (2023).

Diagnosis: Basidiomata annual, pileate, tough to hard corky. Pileal surface ivory white to ochraceous or black-brown. Pore surface white, cream to pale buff brown; pores round to angular. Hyphal system dimitic; generative hyphae clamped; skeletal hyphae IKI−, CB−. Cystidia absent, cystidioles present. Basidiospores ovoid to broadly ellipsoid, hyaline, thin-walled, smooth, IKI−, CB−. Causing a brown rot.
