Dextrinoporus

Dextrinoporus H.S. Yuan 2018, in Yuan & Qin, Mycological Progress, 17, 773-780 (2018).

Etymology: Dextrinoporus: refers to the hyphae in trama with dextrinoid reaction.

Diagnosis: Basidiocarps annual, pileate, applanate, watery and fragile when fresh, shrinking dramatically, hard corky to cartilagineous when dry. Pileal surface cream, buff to pinkish buff, hirsute to tomentose, azonate; pore surface buff to pinkish buff; pores angular to irregular. Context duplex, lower layer distinctly zonate; tubes non-stratified. Hyphal system monomitic; generative hyphae bearing clamp connections, thick-walled, dextrinoid in IKI, and CB+. Dendrohyphidia present in hymenium. Basidiospores broadly ellipsoid, hyaline, thin-walled, smooth, IKI–, CB–. On angiosperm wood, causing a white rot. In tropical to subtropical zones.
