Donkioporiella

Donkioporiella L.W. Zhou 2016, in Qin, et al., Cryptogamie, Mycologie, 37(4), 437-447 (2016).

Etymology: Donkioporiella (Lat.): referring to the similarity to the genus Donkioporia Kotl. & Pouzar.

Diagnosis: Basidiocarps perennial, resupinate, sometimes with elevated margins, inseparable from substrate, woody. hyphal system trimitic; generative hyphae with clamp connections, hyaline thin-walled; skeletal hyphae dominant, yellow to brown, thick-walled; binding hyphae hyaline, thick-walled, frequently branched. Basidiospores broadly ellipsoid, pale yellowish to yellow, thick-walled, smooth, inamyloid, indextrinoid, cyanophilous.
