Amauromyces

Amauromyces Jülich 1978, in Gorjón, Studies in Fungi 5(1), 156 (2020).

Diagnosis: Basidiome resupinate, effused, adnate, thin, crust-like, ceraceous, hymenial surface pale coloured. Hyphal system monomitic, hyphae hyaline, thin-walled in subhymenium, distinctly thick-walled and very wide in the trama, with clamps at all primary septa; wall of basal hyphae swelling and partly dissolving in KOH. Cystidia hyaline, thick-walled, smooth or encrusted as lamprocystidia, often two-celled with clamped septa. Basidia hyaline, clavate to flexuous-cylindrical, 4-spored, with a basal clamp. Basidiospores hyaline, thin-walled, smooth, ellipsoid, small, IKI–, CB–.
