Dentipellicula

Dentipellicula Y.C. Dai & L.W. Zhou 2013, in Gorjón, Studies in Fungi 5(1), 194 (2020).

Diagnosis: Basidiome annual, resupinate, hymenophore hydnoid, aculei soft, cream to flesh-pink when fresh, fragile, cream when dry, clay-buff in bruised part, margin cottony, white, narrow. Subiculum soft corky, white to cream. Hyphal system monomitic; generative hyphae with clamp connections, IKI–, CB–. Gloeoplerous hyphae absent in subiculum, present in hymenophoral trama. Gloeocystidia and cystidia present. Basidiospores distinctly thick-walled, colorless, densely echinulate but smooth in KOH, strongly amyloid, CB+.
