Acanthobasidium

Acanthobasidium Oberw. 1966, in Gorjón, Studies in Fungi 5(1), 125–309 (2020)

Diagnosis: Basidiome resupinate, effused, thin, hymenophore smooth. Hyphal system monomitic, generative hyphae with clamps. Gloeocystidia and acanthocystidia present. Basidia (pleurobasidia) with some lateral protuberances (acanthobasidia). Basidiospores ornamented, amyloid.
