Gymnopanella Sand.-Leiva, J.V. McDonald & Thorn, in Sandoval-Leiva et al., Mycologia 108(4): 821 (2016)

 

Etymology: Referring to gymnopoid clade and Campanella-like basidiomes; gender feminine.

Diagnosis: Saprotrophic, basidiomata convex to flabelliform with short lateral stipe, gymnocarp, hymenophore reticulate-lamellate, pileus trama gelatinized, pileipellis a moist cutis of tubular, clamped hyphae with fascicles of erect, tubular, spirally incrusted hyphal ends but no rameales structure, basidiospores hyaline, thin-walled, nonamyloid, broadly elliptical to ovate.
