Diagnosis: Basidiomata perennial, effused, woody hard when dry, up to 1 mm thick in the specimens examined, margin distinctly sterile, pubescent and yellowish brown (5D6), pore surface grayish brown (6E3) to brownish gray (6E2), cracked when dry, pores angular to round, elongate, (6–)7–9 per mm, (100–)110–200(–220) μm diam., dissepiment entire to lacerate, (20–)30–50(–60) μm thick, subiculum less than 1 mm thick, light brown (6D7), tubes up to 2 mm long, often oblique, indistinctly stratified, brown (6E7) to grayish brown (6E3), with yellowish mycelia strands in the old tubes.
Hyphal system, dimitic, generative hyphae (2.5–)3–3.5(–4) μm diam., regularly septate, branched, thin-walled, gradually thick-walled, occasionally with few septa are observed, skeletal hyphae unbranched, thick-walled with visible lumen to almost solid, (43–)50–200(–202) μm long × (3–)3.5–5(–5.5) μm diam. (Length avg. = 123.1 μm, Width avg. = 3.9 μm), tapering to the apex where the wall is almost thin and four adventitious septa are present, setae absent, cystidioles langeniform, (7–)8–40(–48) μm long × (2–)2.5–4(–5) μm wide, hyaline, thin-walled, basidia not seen, quadrangular to rhomboid crystals abundant in the hymenium and trama of tubes, basidiospores ellipsoid, broadly ellipsoid to subglobose, with flattened side, (3–)3.5–4(–4.5) × (2–)2.5–3(–3.5) μm ( Length avg. = 4.0 μm, Width avg. = 2.9 μm), Q = 1.20–1.75 (Q avg. = 1.41), thick-walled, smooth, pale yellowish, becoming chestnut to ferruginous in KOH (KOH +), CB + , IKI−.
