Diagnosis: Basidiome flabelliform to infundibuliform, pilei fused, more or less stipitate, hymenophore more or less rugose. Hyphal system dimitic, generative hyphae with clamps, skeletal hyphae thick-walled. Cystidia (gloeocystidia) present. Basidia clavate, with 2–4-sterigmata, with a basal clamp. Basidiospores ellipsoid to cylindrical, smooth, thin-walled, hyaline, IKI–.
