Gloeohypochnicium

Gloeohypochnicium (Parmasto) Hjortstam 1987, in Gorjón, Studies in Fungi 5(1), 209 (2020).

            Basionym: Hypochnicium subgen. Gloeohypochnicium Parmasto 1968

            Diagnosis: Basidiome resupinate, adnate, effused, hymenophore smooth to tuberculate, margin indeterminate. Hyphal system monomitic, hyphae with clamps, thin- to thick-walled. Gloeocystidia present, SA+. Basidia cylindrical to narrowly clavate, usually constricted, with a basal clamp, with 4-sterigmata. Basidiospores ellipsoid to globose, distinctly thick-walled, warted, IKI–, cyanophilous.
