Gloeomyces

Gloeomyces Sheng H. Wu 1996, in Gorjón, Studies in Fungi 5(1), 209 (2020).

            Current name: Aleurodiscus Rabenh. ex J. Schröt. 1888

            Diagnosis: Basidiome resupinate, effuse, membranous. Hyphal system dimitic, generative hyphae simple-septate, binding hyphae sparsely distributed in subiculum, yellow or brown. Gloeocystidia numerous, moniliform, slightly SA+. Basidia utriform, with 4-sterigmata, with a simple basal septum. Basidiospores ellipsoid, smooth, thin-walled, amyloid, CB–.
